Rust occurs in all central heating systems producing a black (iron oxide) sludge and, in hard water areas, lime scale builds up in combination boilers just like in your kettle causing many problems to your heating system and damaging your boiler, causing the inside of pipes, pumps and valves to fail. You may notice this by cold spots on radiators.
Power flushing can clean out your central heating system and improve it's efficiency and life span.
Power flushing dislodges any deposits that build up in your central heating system and removes them, replacing it with clean flowing high pressure water, each radiator is individually power flushed and cleaned. A specialist power flushing pump is used to do this.
Power flushing dislodges and removes deposits and corrosion which are left behind by traditional system cleaning methods.
Your system is then re-pressurised and treatments added to prelong the life of your boiler and radiators.
